Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Cyprus Esports Organization (CESO) website (ceso.cy) and our tournament services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. User Accounts

To participate in tournaments, you must create an account.

3. User Conduct

You agree NOT to interfere with the proper working of the services.

• No Cheating Using hacks, bots, or any third-party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
• No Toxic Behavior Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior towards other players or staff will result in bans.
• Account Sharing Sharing accounts or smurfing to manipulate tournament rankings is forbidden.

4. Tournaments & Prizes

Who sells the entry: every tournament entry on ceso.cy is sold and operated by I.T. Armenius LTD, including tournaments organised by community hosts. Hosts organise events for CESO as service providers and are paid a host fee; they do not sell entries themselves. Every tournament is overseen by a CESO admin.

Participation: Entry to tournaments is subject to eligibility requirements (e.g., age, residency). Entry fees are paid from your CESO Wallet, include VAT, and come with a receipt. If a tournament is cancelled, or you leave it before it starts, the fee is refunded to the parts of your wallet that paid it.

Prizes: Coin prizes are paid as CESO Coins. Where a tournament offers cash prizes, they are paid into your Earnings once the CESO admin confirms the results. A host who funds a tournament's cash prizes cannot compete for them. Prizes are awarded at the discretion of CESO. We reserve the right to withhold prizes in cases of suspected cheating or rules violations.

Disqualification: Tournament admins have final authority on all disputes and disqualifications.

5. CESO Wallet

Your CESO Wallet shows one balance made of up to three parts. 100 CESO Coins are worth €1.00 to spend.

• CESO Coins - prepaid store credit issued by I.T. Armenius LTD, for CESO's own services: lounge PC time and purchases, the CESO Shop and tournament entries. CESO Coins cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash, except where the law gives you a right to a refund of coins you bought. Promotional coins (sign-up and newsletter bonuses, coupons, referral rewards, coin prizes) have no cash value.
• Prize Fund - for hosts: top-ups made while acting as Host, used to fund the prizes of tournaments you host. It cannot be withdrawn. Unused Prize Fund can be refunded to the card that paid it (within the card's refund window) or moved into CESO Coins (this cannot be undone). When your CESO Coins run out, Prize Fund is moved into CESO Coins automatically to pay for what you buy.
• Earnings - money CESO owes you from cash prizes and host fees. Earnings can be spent like coins and, once withdrawals are available, withdrawn by bank transfer to an account in your own name, after review. CESO may hold a withdrawal while it looks into suspected fraud, a chargeback or a breach of these terms.

Spending order: purchases use CESO Coins first, then Prize Fund, then Earnings. No transfers: balances cannot be sent to other members. Redeem Vouchers are paid with CESO Coins only. Card refunds and chargebacks: if a card top-up is refunded or disputed, what it bought is removed from your wallet; if it was already spent, CESO may recover it and suspend withdrawals until it is settled. Closing your account: Earnings and Prize Fund must be paid out or refunded first. If you want to close an account with purchased CESO Coins left, contact us first.

6. Receipts & VAT

Every purchase gets a numbered receipt, and every top-up a numbered top-up receipt. Prices include VAT where it applies. Your receipts are in your wallet's transaction history, where you can view, download (PDF) or email them at any time. Businesses can add invoice details to receive full tax invoices.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of CESO or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CESO be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.
