CESO CS:2 (Counter Strike) Tournament - April 2026

Format

• 16 players, single elimination bracket
• All matches Bo1 (Best of 1 map)
• Grand Final Bo3 (Best of 3 maps)

Game Settings

• Game: Counter-Strike 2
• Platform: PC
• Match Type: 1v1 Aim Match (Custom Servers)
• Round Format: MR12 (First to 13 rounds wins)
• Overtime: MR3 (First to 16 rounds) with $10,000 start money
• Map Pool: aim_map, am_redline, aim_glockon
• Weapons: Rifles only (AK-47, M4A4, M4A1-S)
• AWP is only allowed if BOTH players mutually agree via chat before the match
• Armor: Kevlar & Helmet provided automatically

Map & Match Rules

• Map Veto (Bo1): Ban 1 - Ban 1 - Remaining map is played
• Map Veto (Bo3): Pick 1 - Pick 1 - Remaining map is decider
• Starting side (CT/T) is determined by a Knife Round
• Exploiting map bugs, pixel walking, or leaving the intended play area is strictly forbidden
• Every participant must try to win every match; intentional throwing is forbidden

Peripherals & Settings

• Players may bring their own mice, keyboards, and headsets
• Must connect via cable only (no wireless peripherals allowed)
• Strictly Forbidden: SOCD features (Snap Tap, Snappy Tappy), null-binds, or jump-throw scripts (Per official Valve rules)
• No macros, turbo, or software-assisted inputs of any kind

Eligibility & Conduct

• Participants must be at least 16 years old; under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Participants must be citizens or legal residents of Cyprus for at least 6 months
• All players must be registered on the CESO.CY platform
• All players must be members of the Cyprus E-sport Organisation (CESO)
• Fair play is mandatory at all times
• Trash-talking is permitted, but personal insults or disrespectful behavior will result in immediate disqualification

Admin & Access

• Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before the tournament start
• Late arrival results in automatic forfeit
• No personal Steam accounts allowed
• Only official lounge Steam accounts will be used for the tournament
• Admin decisions are final
